Zero Waste Magnetic Island partners with Diana Condylas from Plastic Free Townsville

Diana works with businesses to help them transition away from single use plastics. There are already 60 businesses in Townsville on board.

 

The program is free, and Di is very keen to meet with Magnetic Island cafes and other businesses to offer her services. These include suggestions for truly compostable products and how to work with other businesses to implement initiatives such as accelerated composting of food waste and the ‘green caffene’ program.

 

Some of our Island businesses are already participants including Scallywags, Café Nourish, Base Backpackers and Sealink Ferries. Diana can promote all of the plastic free initiatives taken up by Magnetic Island businesses on social media and to other organisations.
